A Turner-Wallace Photography

Wildlife, Landscape and Living Photography

Two favourite images

When you come back from a shoot, there’s no real telling what you’ll have and although there’s a chance you’ll have a few good shots, its not always a guarantee (the phrase “don’t work with animals or children” springs to mind).

When I came back from a birding and photography trip recently, I was really pleased how these two pictures came out, of a Black Headed Gull braving a windy day on a stump (they’re black in summer). I think it goes to show how even some of the most simple shots can lead to something quite nice to work on and frame up. It doesn’t have to be flying Harriers and birds of prey.
